Today Let ’ s talk about the five parameter units of PCB and what are the meaning of them.
1. Dielectric Constant (DK value)
Typically indicates the capacity of a material to store electrical energy. The smaller the DK value, the less the material's ability to store electrical energy, and the faster the transmission speed. Normally expressed by ∑ .
2. TG (Glass Transition Temperature)
When the temperature rises to a certain range, the substrate will transition from a "glassy state" to a "rubbery state". The temperature at which this occurs is called the glass transition temperature (Tg). Tg is the highest temperature (℃) at which the base material remains "rigid".
3. CTI (Comparative Tracking Index)
Indicates the quality of insulation. The larger the CTI value, the better the insulation.
4. TD (Thermal Decomposition Temperature)
